Warm and Healthy Comfort meals

Warm up your green drinks and meals in general to increase your mood and connect with healthy comfort meals.

Speaking of your diet, we must say that winter is probably the perfect time to indulge in comfort foods and ditch those healthy meals that were your favorites during summer and fall. Of course, it’s really easy to forget about those green smoothies and salads when there’s a cup of hot coffee or tea around, but be sure not to make such a mistake and make some changes to your meals. For example, you can warm them up by adding some ginger, which promotes circulation and aids digestion. It can also reduce muscle pain and soreness, as well as lower your cholesterol levels, so don’t wait any longer and incorporate it into your homemade meals as soon as possible.

TURMERIC GINGER HONEY BOMB | immunity boosting recipe:

ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. grated turmeric
  • 1 tbsp. grated ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • zest from one organic lemon
  • 1 tsp. crushed garlic
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup Manuka honey

Instructions

  • Prep all ingredients and then combine everything in a small container (that has a lid).
  • Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  • Add 1 tsp. of the immunity paste to warm water or fresh squeezed juice for a delicious and immunity boosting drink. Enjoy!

Notes

If mixing into hot water, allow the water to cool a bit so all of the benefits of the honey stay intact.
