Our simple combination of perfectly seasoned ground meet, and lightly charred zucchini with just a touch of tomato is sure to hit the spot!
- 1/2 pound ground turkey or chicken
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon diced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped lettuce
- 1 small tomato, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 large zucchini, sliced into quarter-inch thick circles
Combine ground meat, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and paprika, and form quarter-inch small burger patties.
Heat oil in pan or skillet, add patties and cook about 10 min until well done on both sides.
Place zucchini slices on a grill (for grill marks) or pan for 2 minutes and set aside to dry.
Assemble sliders by placing one patty on a zucchini slice, add lettuce and tomato slice, and finish with another zucchini slice on top.
Add additional toppings to your sliders like avocado, mushrooms, or onions.
