How Many Choices Do You Make Each Day?

From the time we all wake up until the time we go to sleep, each day will present to you many scenarios/opportunities/activities that will involve you making choices.  The reason why these are “choices” is because there are options available to you.  As an example, you will “choose” what outfit to wear, what route you will take to work, what you will prioritize at work, what streaming or TV shows you will watch at night, what you will check out on the internet in your leisure time, etc etc etc.

Focusing on weight control, each day will provide you with numerous choices as well.  Will you “choose” to follow an SP Dietary Plan Phase 1 exactly that day?  Will you carve out exercise time?  Will you ensure adequate water intake for the day?

Some choices are influenced by circumstances or by other people.  If you need to attend a business lunch meeting, your choices of food will be dictated by the person that makes the choice as to what food is brought in.  If you get invited to a friend’s house for a dinner party, that person is providing the food choices.

Taking a step back and looking at the “big picture”:  Would you rather “choose” health over disease?  Obviously, everyone’s answer would be a resounding “YES”.  Keeping that choice in mind, it is important that we “choose” the options available to us that will heighten the chances of “health” being the mainstay.

We all must realize that the little choices we make every day will add up to the big choice of health/happiness over disease/sadness.  I am not implying that it is easy to “choose” proteins/vegetables over carbs or “choose” water over a glass of wine.  However, in the aggregate, what seem to be small choices on a daily basis, as this relates to eating/drinking/exercise can make a huge difference in our lives.

You have the control and power to make the smart choices.  Choose health!
